Rat Snake and Cobras

This picture shows two cobras on the ground, intertwined, while above them a rat snake is wrapped around a thin branch of vegetation. The cobra is a venomous snake which rears its head up and spreads its neck when it is distrubed. The rat snake is a very aggresive, nonvenomous snake that will bite if threatened. They are adept climbers with spiny belly scales that grab the tree trunk as they climb.
