Black Throated Blue Warbler

The Black Throated Blue Warbler occurs generally throughout Pennsylvania only as a passing visitor in the spring and fall. The female of this species, although considerably different from the male in his showy coat of blue, black, and white, can always be known by the white patch at the base of primaries.
