Beurre Rance

This picture illustrates three pears, The Beurre Rance, The Summer Beurre d' Aremberg, and The Beurre Diel. The Pear (pyrus communis) is a native of the tempeate parts of Europe and Western Asia, and has been found in the Himalayas. All of these illustrated pears are dessert varieties.
