RVSSIAE | vulgo MOSCOVIA dictae, | ... Apud Ioannem et Cornelium Blaeu (1638)This map of Northeastern Russia was published in 1638 by Joan (1598-1673) and Cornelis Blaeu (1610-1646). The map appears in an appendix in the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum published by their father Willem Jansz. Blaeu (1571-1638) in 1635-1636. The image on the map is taken from a travel journal from 1610 by the Amsterdam Mayor Isaac Massa (1586-1643).
