Yellow Billed Cuckoo

The Yellow Billed Cuckoo is much more frequently heard than seen, unless it is darting from one tree to another. This species in known as the Rain Crow and Kow bird for its peculiar and loud gutteral notes of Kow, Kow, which is said are most clamorous at the approach of rain.
