NATOLIA, quae olim ASIA MINOR, William Jansz. and Joan Blaeu (1635)This map of Anatolia, the governmental and political center of the great Turkish Empire, was published in 1635 by Willem Jansz. (1571-1638) and Joan Blaeu (1598-1673). Father and son Blaeu derived the image from a 16th-century example by the Italian cartographer Giacomo Gastaldi (1500-1566).
